Pastor Yoder was born and raised in Belleville, Pa.  After graduating from Belleville Mennonite School in 1970, he enrolled at Philadelphia Biblical University.  Here he met Susan, now his wife of more than 34 years.  After graduating from PBU in 1974, he attended Eastern Mennonite Seminary for one year and then completed his Master of Divinity degree in 1980 at Western Conservative Baptist Seminary in Portland, Oregon.  He has served as a lead pastor in several churches for over 31 years, including Pine Grove Church since November of 2000.  Pastor Yoder is a trained Chaplain, having completed 5 units of Clinical Pastoral Education.  He has two daughters, one son-in-law and two very special grandchildren.  In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, hunting and officiating basketball games as a PIAA official.  Pastor Yoder is deeply committed to providing leadership to the local church that ministers effectively in the congregation, local community and in global missions.

Pastor Dave grew up in Southern New Jersey in the suburbs surrounding Philadelphia.  Following high school he attended and graduated from Lancaster Bible College where he met Kim, now his wife of more than twenty years.  After college he gained his Masters degree in Counseling and Bible from Biblical Theological Seminary in Hatfield, PA.  He had served in 3 churches for over 14 years before he came to Pine Grove Church in 2003.  He has two teenage sons who share his love of reading science fiction and fantasy novels.  Pastor Dave is passionate about helping others grow closer in their relationship with Jesus Christ and enjoys being creative in that process.

Cheryl has been the Music Director at Pine Grove Church since the Fall of 2005, where she serves as organist, choir director, handchime choir director, and orchestra director.  She also coordinates music for both the traditional and contemporary services.  Cheryl is an adjunct faculty member at Lebanon Valley College, where she teaches class piano and private piano lessons.  She also teaches private piano lessons in the area.  Cheryl received her B.A. in Music from Lebanon Valley College in 2003, and a M.M. in Sacred Music and Piano Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College of Rider University in 2005.  Besides her interests in music, Cheryl enjoys quilting, cooking, hiking and travelling with her husband, Jon. 

Sandy began work as the Office Secretary in December of 2010.  She oversees daily operations of the church office and provides administrative support to the pastors and various ministries of the church.  Prior to Pine Grove, she worked nine years with Mennonite Central Committee at its Akron, PA headquarters, and was also a Communication Arts major at the Pennsylvania School of Art and Design in Lancaster, PA.  She and her husband Kent are the parents of three children--two boys and one girl.  Sandy enjoys serving in Pine Grove’s music ministry as a member of the chime choir and piano accompanist for the adult choir on occasion.  Her interests include reading, history & genealogy, and various creative arts.
